Automation and Control Systems for Paint Shop
The paint-shop electrical control system is designed around the requirements of the coating process, coating quality, equipment maintenance and management, production takt, logistics, fire safety, environmental protection, and mechanized conveying. It ensures accurate process-parameter control and easy adjustment, and keeps both process and conveying equipment running safely, stably, and reliably.
Control Architecture
- Distributed Control System
Control cabinets are placed close to the equipment. Coating and conveying equipment are interconnected over a communication network, with centralized monitoring from a central control room. The system is organized in two layers: monitoring and management, and field devices. - Industrial Ethernet
Switches are tiered by function into core switches, workshop switches, and device-level switches. - PLC
Process and conveying equipment are controlled by PLC plus fieldbus. Each system has its own PLC; the cabinet houses a managed switch that connects to the upper level and carries one HMI for field operation, parameter setting, and fault display.
Automation and Control Systems Key Components/Details
Changhong Intelligence's core business covers automated automotive painting equipment, intelligent welding systems, conveying systems, and general assembly lines. In the body shop area, we design and manufacture robotic welding lines, main body welding lines, and sub-assembly welding lines. In the paint shop area, we provide complete project planning and construction, including PT & ED equipment, spray booths, ovens, and conveying systems. In the general assembly area, we deliver automated assembly lines that build complete vehicles according to defined assembly specifications and sequences. Our technical services span the entire project lifecycle - from process planning, equipment design, and manufacturing to on-site installation, automation commissioning, and long-term after-sales support.
