Slat Conveyor System
The slat conveyor is one of the core floor conveyors in vehicle assembly, in two forms: steel slat chain and plastic slat chain. It consists of a frame, drive unit, tensioning device, and slat top plates or plastic belt. The steel slat chain moves its top plates by side traction chains; the plastic slat chain drives a plastic belt meshing with plastic sprockets. It serves interior lines, final lines, OK lines, rain-test lines, and handover lines.
